Spunk Lube Hybrid Review

Spunk Lube Hybrid Review, June 2021

I first discovered Spunk Lube on Twitter. What initially sparked my interest in this brand was hearing about ‘Spunk Lube Pink‘ (Yes, pink lube.)

I was curious. I liked the unique idea and the look of Spunk Lube Pink and when Jeff (the guy behind the product) introduced me to the other lubricants in his range and offered to send me some samples for an honest review, I jumped at the chance to sample these unique products.

Spunk Lube was the first lubricant produced by spunklube.com and it was designed to fill a niche. Put simply, Spunk Lube is designed to look, and feel like semen.

Although it might not be for everyone, it is certainly a welcome addition to the lubricant industry.

I can imagine it being great for use in erotic photography, porn (or amateur) videos, to heighten the realism when used with your sex toys, for use with toys that are designed to ejaculate, for use with a partner who enjoys a more realistic looking lube, cuckolding fetishes and probably many more.

Then followed Spunk Lube Pink and Spunk Lube Silicone and I hear that spunklube.com are looking at producing a flavoured and a completely natural variation in the near future.

Ingredients

Water, Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxymethylcellulose, Glycerine, Methylparaben.

EDIT (UPDATE 28/07/2015)

Since reviewing this lubricant, the formula has changed. Spunk Lube is now glycerine free.

How It Looks And Feels

Spunk Lube does a fantastic job of being able to look and act very similar to real cum, without actually feeling exactly like it.

The viscosity is perfect. It is gloopy enough to hold a reasonable shape when squirted from the bottle (It won’t just flatten out completely, like water) and this means that the creamy colour stays noticeable when it is applied to the skin. What I really enjoy about this lubricant is that it forms strings.

When I apply some Cum Lube to my thumb, pressed my index finger into the lubricant and pulled it away, it started forming strings of lube between both the thumb and finger.

Again this makes it look and act in the same way semen does, although the stringing is only mild.

The strange this is, normally lubricants that string like this are sticky, yet Spunk Lube feels perfectly slick.

The advertising also suggests that Spunk Lube feels like cum. I disagree and to be honest I am glad it doesn’t. I personally find that real cum isn’t very slick or slippery and it dries very quickly. Spunk Lube doesn’t do this.

It stays gloriously slippery and stays wet for longer than a lot of other water based lubes I have tried. I put this down to Spunk Lube being a hybrid (It is a water based, silicone blend.)

Of course, it will dry up during extended use but it can be reactivated with a few drops of water, saving you using more from the bottle. Things To Note

Spunk Lube is generally body safe but it does contain parabens, so I would avoid this lube if you have a paraben allergy.

It has a barely perceptible PVA glue type smell and a faint soapy after-taste too, so it isn’t great for use during oral sex. Spunk Lube is a hybrid lubricant which means that it contains silicone.

Spunklube does say that it is safe to use with silicone sex toys and I have done so without causing any damage to my vibrators but I would still recommend using a completely water-based lube with your toys if this worries you.

You can purchase Spunk Lube in 59ml and 236ml bottles and it is extremely good value for money.

Overall

A great quality, long-lasting lubricant that does closely resemble the look of real semen (but not the feel.) I love this product and the fact that it goes above and beyond “The norm” and brings us something different, something fun and interesting to play with for a change.

It is the perfect viscosity and I adore the fact it goes all stringy looking while still managing to stay completely slippery and slick rather than sticky. It did not cause any irritation or reactions and I am quite a delicate soul (Well, my vagina is.)

If I could change one thing it would be to make it more natural, remove the parabens and open up this product to everyone. Other than that, brilliant.

Warning: Although it may look like cum, applying it to your hands and flicking it at your significant other whilst yelling “Spiderman” could end in a red bottom. You have been warned! Spunk Lube Hybrid was kindly sent to me free of charge from spunklube.com for an honest review.

This doesn’t affect or sway my opinions of the product and I will always portray my own experiences, good or bad.
