Lovense Max 2 Review
Today’s topic is going to be a little bit different than our usual.
Today, we are reviewing the Lovense Max 2, a male masturbation sleeve that is looking to compete with the most popular sleeves on the market from Fleshlight
The Lovense Max 2 is packed with features that blow the competition out of the water. Since I don’t have the appropriate equipment to test this product myself, I’m going to use my partner to help me.
He has already helped me test a number of masturbation sleeves for me, including some Fleshlight models such as the Fleshlight Ice Crystal.
My partner already mentioned to me some months ago he found a lot of the sleeves we were testing felt very similar with very little variety and it was difficult to tell the difference between them.

What Is The Lovense Max 2?

Product Details
The Max 2 comes in a simple box and included with it is a charging cable and some multi-lingual instructions. The regular sleeve included is a neutral-shaped hole with the same multiple texture interior.
Exterior
The Lovense Max 2 exterior is very sleek and simple. The exterior is made of 100% white ABS plastic, that comes with carved-out finger grooves along the sides for better grip.
Max 1 had a smooth exterior and once lube was applied it was very difficult to hold onto the whole sleeve. Once the cap is on top of the sleeve, at first glance it would be easy to mistake it for a refillable water bottle or Thermos and not a can of something super stimulating pocket pussy.
The dimensions of the Max 2 exterior are 9.5 “ long and 3.33” in diameter. It is larger than it appears in pictures, a little bit deceiving.
Interior Sleeve
The sleeve has a neutral-looking orifice for insertion and is made of semi-transparent Thermoplastic Elastomers(TPE) which has become a new standard for male masturbators.
If you are not of fan of the non-anatomical orifice, a vagina replica sleeve is also available for purchase at an extra cost.
The insertable length of the sleeve is about 6.5” and can fit guys up to 1.81 “ wide very comfortably.

Cleaning And Maintenance
The Max 2 is IPX6 rated meaning it can handle water being sprayed on it under pressure but it cannot be submerged in water. Lovense also specifically mentions not to use soap to clean the sleeve as it may damage the material.
This is important to note because tiny micro dimples in the material can harbor bacteria. Bacteria and private parts do not mix well together and everybody wants to avoid that mess.
When cleaning the Max 2 you can rinse out the interior while making sure the air pump vent is in the closed position. Do not allow water to drip down the sides of the Max 2 when cleaning.
According to Lovense, water-based lube is your best choice as it will last the longest without having the need to reapply lube mid funtime.

Interior Gizmos
The Lovense Max 2 is packed with interior goodies that all work together to give you the most intense and stimulating experience possible.
The Max 2 is Bluetooth compatible allowing you to control it using your phone and even allows somebody else to control the vibrations and contractions from anywhere else using the associated app.
The sleeve has a very strong vibrator installed inside the plastic tube which has 7 preinstalled vibration settings. You can mess around with more settings in the app interface, this is just out-of-the-box manual mode.
The Max 2 also has an air pump inside of it with 3 settings, tight, tighter, and tightest, those all sound like good options from here. The air pump increases the psi in the tube slightly to increase the pressure of the sleeve on your penis.
This is what causes the contractions of the sleeve. It could happen that the pressure gets strong enough that it’ll force your junk outside the sleeve. This is why there is an emergency release valve on the back of the masturbator in case the pressure gets a bit too much.
Additional Features
Linking To Another Toy
The Max 2 is capable of syncing up with another Max, Max 2 or Nora device. Once they are connected, the devices will emulate the other’s movements. A thrust into the Max 2 will trigger vibrations and rotation in the Nora device.

Our Experience
I let my partner get comfortable with the sleeve on his own for the first use so that he’d be as comfortable as possible for when we tried it out together.
After using it on his own, he came running back rather sooner than I expected him to. I thought this was funny as he’s been a little hesitant to test the sleeves with me. His smile though was everything I needed to see.
He mentioned that the sleeve was similar to the Ice Crystal sleeve by Fleshlight and was already more intense than the competition. He didn’t like the TPU material as much as silicone and mentioned that Fleshlight has a more lifelike feel.
My partner told me that using it without any gizmos running gave an overall average feeling, but once he turned on the air pump everything changed. He said the air pump made the sleeve so tight he couldn’t push into it anymore so he turned on the vibrations.

Once I got a hang of the settings and figured out what he likes, it was a piece of cake to finish him off.
The final result, he loves it. In comparison to other sleeves we’ve tried together he said that none come close to the amount of pleasure the Max 2 brings. “I didn’t have to move and nearly lost myself just standing there.”
It definitely caught him off guard. His favorite part of the toy was the air pump that added tightness to the sleeve. My partner mentioned that most male masturbators don’t have an option to increase the tightness level, only the suction. This was mind-blowing to him and “made the biggest difference in the intensity” of pleasure according to my partner.
One of the things that he didn’t like about the Lovense is that it is loud, like really loud. I could hear the vibrations in the other room when he turned them on while using it alone. My partner was extremely satisfied with the Lovesense Max 2 Masturbator sleeve and would definitely recommend it, without knowing the price.
When I told him the whole unit cost 99$ from the manufacturer’s website he nearly lost his mind.
Fleshlight’s cost nearly the same amount and come with NONE of the options that the Max 2 came with. Well done to Lovesense for creating an absolutely amazing and well-priced product for the guys to enjoy out there.
Apart from the noise levels, this was by far the most fun my partner has had with a masturbator sleeve.
