Rocks-Off 160mm Bullet Vibrator Review

Rocks-Off 160mm Bullet Vibrator Review

The Rocks-Off 160mm bullet  vibrator was kindly sent to me from Rocks-Off for an honest review and this is the largest bullet vibrator available in the Rocks-Off collection.

It measures 6.5 inches in total length (5.25 inches insertable length) and has a circumference of 4 inches around the the shaft.

The RO-160mm is made from ABS plastic and has that standard bullet vibrator shape, but it is super sized, which makes it suitable for both external and internal stimulation.

This vibrator takes two AA batteries to operate and is waterproof (Ensure the screw-cap lid cap is tightened securely before using the RO-160mm in water.)

It comes with 10 different vibration settings to play with and is operated using a single push button on the base.

You simply press to switch the vibrator on and continue pressing to cycle through the settings.

To turn it off, press and hold the button for a few seconds. The first 3 vibration modes are continuous speeds; low, medium and high and the last 7 are pattern settings. This vibrator is also available in 4 different colours; metallic blue, pink and purple plus, of course, leopard print.

You can also get the RO-160mm in the new Lal hardy range, which features tattoo prints on a metallic background. Very nice.

My Experiences

When it came to initially testing the RO-160mm, the power seeker in me looked on silently, curiosity piqued, but with one eyebrow raised, dubiously.

It’s fair to say that am quite fussy with the kind of stimulation I require from vibrations, needing a combination of power and depth.

My previous experiences with the other bullets from the Rocks-Off range have been generally good and the vibrations felt enjoyable, but small toys have small motors and they all lacked that extra “oomph” needed to take me to orgasm. (To be fair, this applies to every single battery-operated bullet vibe I have ever used.)

I turned the RO-160mm on and immediately heard those tell-tale rumbling sounds that I associate with deeper vibrations. It was a good start.

I applied the tip of the bullet to my clit and was surprised to discover that it could provide reasonably pin point sensations, despite the fact that the bullet is so large. Of course, it is not quite as pin point as the smaller bullets are, but it was good enough for me.

The vibrations during use are what I would describe as ‘mid-level’ which means they are split reasonably evenly, between rumbly and buzzy.  There is definitely a fair amount of surface level buzzing, which can start to numb my clit after a while, so I had to keep moving the vibrator, to avoid this effect.

I can personally live without the buzzy vibrations, but it was the deeper, rumbling vibrations that pleased me. These rumbling vibrations were deep enough and powerful enough to take me to orgasm, almost every time.

See, the 160mm bullet is one of those vibrators that can give me my first orgasm with relative ease, but if I want to continue on to more, or if I am having one of those days where I am struggling, I have to switch at this point, to another vibrator. Something which can effectively jack hammer my clit into submission, like the We-Vibe Tango.

Still, as a fussy woman with power queen tendencies and a clitoris of steel, I was rather impressive that the RO-160mm could please me.

Of course, I still prefer the deep rumblings from my We-Vibe Tango, but the Tango is almost double the price of the RO-160mm and therefore, I find it unfair to compare. Put it this way, if I had a budget of roughly £25 to spend on an effective, versatile and enjoyable vibrator, the RO-160mm would feature very high up on that shopping list.

In my opinion, it is one of the best vibrators in that price range.

What Is Good About The RO-160mm Bullet?

The vibrations are extremely varied.

The lower power settings are gently rumbling, providing a nice tease, without any buzzy, clit numbing shallowness. The higher continuous speed settings are mid-level for depth and powerful enough to please me reliably. With ten different settings and patterns to use, it provides a lot of different sensations to choose from.

It doesn’t suffer from dampened vibrations.

There is no silicone to dampen the vibrations travelling from the motor and applying pressure with this vibrator does not cause any dampening of the motor.

You pretty much get the full force of the vibrations, no matter how much pressure you apply. This is perfect for those who get frustrated by toys that just seem to die on them, the moment they apply pressure. (Me)

It can be used for internal stimulation too.

Of course, being bullet shaped and generally straight, the RO-160mm is not the most ideal g-spot stimulator, but it is long enough and firm enough to effectively hit my g-spot (With a little angling.) and the firmer pressure that feels good.

The vibrations feel nice and strong internally too. Of course, being made from ABS plastic, the RO-160mm feels very smooth and easy to insert, with almost no drag at all, but it also feels very rigid and has potential to clatter behind your pubic bone, if, for example, you try to move with it inserted (Again, me)

It can provide broad and pin point stimulation.

The tip on the RO-160mm is larger than the tip on a standard bullet and so the sensations are not as pin-point as you might expect from a smaller bullet. However, it does provide a reasonably pin-point stimulation that was enough to satisfy my needs, as well as a more broad stimulation if I just lay the side of the bullet over the length of my clitoris or vulva.

It is Waterproof.

I am sure it is obvious why this is a benefit. As well as being able to use it in the bath or shower, it also means a quick and easy clean up after use.

What Is Not So Good About The RO-160mm Bullet?

It’s noisy.

Not the noisiest vibrator I own, granted, but not “Whisper quiet” either. You can hear it from the other side of the bedroom, but not through a closed door. (Unless you intend to use it extremely close to that door.)

It can numb the clitoris.

Those buzzy vibrations can cause a numbing sensation in the clitoris and I had to keep repositioning the vibrator to ensure that I did not become completely numb to the sensations provided.

Cleaning And Care

The RO-160mm is made from ABS plastic and is waterproof. This means you can use any lubricant you wish and can clean it extremely easily after use. To keep it safe between uses, I recommend removing the batteries and storing it inside the little satin pouch that comes with the vibrator.

Summary

The Rocks-Off 160mm bullet vibe retails for roughly £25 and is probably one of the best vibrators I have experienced in this price range.

The vibrations are powerful enough and deep enough to reliably satisfy my desires, plus this vibe comes with 10 different settings and the option to be used clitorally and internally too. It is therefore pretty versatile.

I would not recommend it to those among you who already own a few ‘luxury’ vibrators and have become accustomed to their power, or those who really need ‘jack hammer’ deep vibrators.

I would also avoid the RO-160mm if a certain amount of buzzing vibrations irritate you, but I was certainly not disappointed. After all, it brought me to orgasm reliably.

I would definitely recommend this vibrator to beginners, looking for a versatile, quality made toy that provides lots of different sensations, from a gentle rumble to more powerful, mid depth vibration, with lots of patterns thrown in, to mix it up.

The RO-160mm is not going to blow your budget while you start out your experimentations with toys either. An overall winner.
