Nexus Femme Bisous Rotating Rabbit Vibrator Review

Nexus Femme Bisous Rotating Rabbit Vibrator Review

This is the previous four rabbit vibes were anything to go by, I just don’t seem to get on with this style of sex toy.

Dual stimulators can be hit and miss, which is obvious really, when you realise that women’s vaginas and vulvas come in all different shapes and sizes.

Finding your perfect fit with these toys is difficult and it is hard to recommend rabbits to others, because what one woman finds perfect, another finds impossible to get off with.

That being said, I was pretty keen to try the Nexus Femme Bisous Rabbit. This is a unique toy after all.

It’s shape and features (Rotations? Yes please!) had my curiosity piqued.

Product Information

The first thing to really impress me was the packaging. As you can see from my pictures, it arrives in a gorgeous pink and black glossy box.

The internal box can even be used for long term storage, but you will also find a velvet drawstring pouch inside the packaging too, which you can use to keep your Bisous Rabbit inside, in between uses.

What tickled me most was the bright pink USB charging cable. This cable is never getting confused when added to the zillion black charging cables I have stored in my (wo)man drawer.

The packaging and presentation definitely adds an air of quality, luxury and femininity. The Nexus Femme Bisous Rabbit is rechargeable and as mentioned, it comes with a USB charging cable (No mains adapter) and takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge.

A full charge will give you approximately 4 hours of play time and you will know when your Bisous is in need of a charge, because a red light will flicker on the control panel.

Once charged, you operate the Bisous using the three buttons on the control panel. There is the on/off button (Which is fabulous, because the toy will turn off in a second should you be disturbed, unlike those ‘hold for 3 seconds’ buttons found on other toys.) Then you have one button to control the clitoral vibrator.

The clitoral vibrator has 6 settings; three constant speeds and 3 patterns and each click of this button will cycle you through those settings continuously. You can turn off the clitoral arm altogether by pressing and holding the clitoral arm button and this will allow the rotations to continue, but deactivate the vibrations in the clitoral arm.

The last button controls the two rotation speeds of the main shaft and just like the clitoral arm button, it too can be deactivated, should you want the main shaft to stop rotating. I like this design. You have full control over your choice of stimulation.

The Nexus Femme Bisous is made from high quality, body safe silicone, which feels quite matte and does cause a fair amount of drag during use. I recommend water based lubricant for a comfortable ride. I also recommend storing this toy in the velvet pouch between uses, because this silicone does attract a fair amount of lint/pet hair/dust.  The dimensions are as follows:

  • Length of clitoral arm: 2.25 inches
  • Length of main shaft: 4.5 inches
  • Circumference of main shaft at widest point: 4.5 inches

Initial Impressions During Use

The Nexus Bisous’ main shaft is completely rigid (I suspect a plastic core, coated in silicone.) but the smooth silicone and gentle tapering shaft made it comfortable to insert.

The curve is not too severe and while it definitely hit my g-spot, it never felt too overwhelming, nor was there too much pressure applied to the upper wall of my vagina, which was good news.

It was what happened next though, that really impressed me. As I inserted the main shaft deeper, I discovered that the clitoral arm came to rest at the base of my clitoral shaft, pretty much on top of my clitoris. In other words, it sat exactly where I needed it to be. This has never happened to me before.

Normally I have to angle my rabbit vibrators, to ensure they hit their mark but with the Nexus Bisous, I could literally let go of the vibrator entirely and find that it stayed in the right position, both internally and externally.

When using the Nexus Bisous this way, the clitoral arm approaches the clitoris at a 90 angle. (Imagine someone pointing directly at your clitoris, so that only the tip of their finger touches you.) and while this felt good enough, it was sometimes a little too pin point for me and could even be a tad pokey, which was a little uncomfortable.

Luckily the clitoral arm, while rigid for the most part, has been designed with a pretty flexible neck and so I could bend the clitoral arm upwards and lay it over my vulva and clitoris directly, (Like someone laying their entire finger flat over your clitoris.) and this felt much more enjoyable because I could insert the main shaft deeper, with the arm out of the way and there is enough tension in the clitoral arm to make it want to spring back to its original position, which meant that it added a little pressure to my clitoris during use.

The pressure was comfortable, not too extreme, but again, there was still the odd occasion where I felt it poke a little. Despite the odd poke, I was relatively pleased with how the Bisous fit my body.

The Vibrations From The Clitoral Arm

It was time to test the vibrations and if you know me, you know I don’t enjoy shallow or ‘buzzy’ vibrators, which is a problem I have experienced all too recently with a few other rabbit vibrators and I was worried it would be ‘same-old, same-old’ with the Nexus Bisous.

Hoping for powerful, deep vibrations I switched on the Bisous and was actually pleasantly surprised. If I were to draw a scale, with the bottom end representing really shallow vibrations and the top end representing deep, thudding vibrations, I would place the Nexus Bisous about a third of the way up the scale.

Yes, it leans closer to the shallow end than it does the deep end, but it still seemed to have enough of a kick and enough of a rumble to take me to orgasm pretty reliably. (This is more than can be said for some.)

Now, the Bisous is not the kind of vibrator I will reach for on those days when I am struggling to get there, or distracted and needing an extra kick and it wasn’t’ all that useful for those second, third or fourth orgasms, when I needed more ‘oomph’, but if I am aroused and ready to play, it can satisfy me perfectly well. We-Vibe Tango.

It didn’t blow my socks off, but it was good enough, most of the time, for this power seeker.

The Rotating Shaft In Use

Rotating shaft vibrators are not a new concept, but the Nexus Bisous is the first I have come across (Pun) that actually looks sleek and stylish with it. On top of this, it actually rotates STRONGLY. I clenched my vaginal muscles around that shaft like a woman possessed and never did it grind to a halt.

It never even missed a beat. Of course, there is one slight downside here; if you clench tightly and grasp the handle loosely, it will stop rotating inside you and instead, the handle will do a ‘swirly swirly’ dance around the outside of your vagina. A firm grip is needed to transfer those rotations back inside the body.

It is worth it though, especially if you enjoy feeling movement inside you, while at the same time having your clitoris stimulated. The Bisous’ shaft has two rotation speeds and these rotations feel similar to what I imagine a very large finger would feel like, if someone swirled it around inside you.

You feel the shaft circling around and brushing against your vaginal walls. The rotations are not fast enough or hard enough to compare the Bisous to any kind of thrusting or jiggling motions and this toy is nothing like the Fun factory, Stronic range, but nevertheless it feels uniquely enjoyable in a tender, gentle kind of way and it really titillates the g-spot.

It is not nearly enough, on its own, to give me g-spot orgasms, but the rotations, combined with the clitoral stimulation was different and it added more sensation to the whole experience. Please note that the shaft does not vibrate. It only rotates.

The Handle In Use

The last thing I want to talk about is the handle. I don’t know about you but I initially wondered why the Nexus Femme Bisous had been designed with such a big, bulky handle.

I think I finally understand though, because, as mentioned above, you do need to be able to grip the Bisous firmly to ensure the rotations stay inside the body and this larger handle makes light work of that task. You can circle your entire fist around this handle and that makes gripping it firmly, more comfortable.

The button placement is perfect too and the large buttons light up during use, making them easy to spot in the darkness or under covers. This rabbit vibrator is also surprisingly light, considering it looks quite bulky and all this makes for a comfortable, relaxing session, without the dreaded hand/arm cramps.

The Downsides

So what are the downsides? Well first of all, this toy is not waterproof. It is splash proof only, which reduces the versatility (You cannot use this vibrator in the bath or shower).

Luckily, cleaning is still relatively simple and if you are careful, you can still wash the main portion of the Bisous and rinse under the tap, as long as you avoid the control panel/handle.

Still, for a toy this expensive, making it waterproof would have been nice. Being the power queen that I am, I would also like more power from the clitoral arm.

Yes it can make me orgasm as it is, but it doesn’t blow my socks off. It doesn’t make me scream “wow” Maybe I am just greedy. The last thing to note is that this toy is not discreet enough to use in a shared dorm or with thin walls.

It is not super loud, but when the rotations are on, it does make a squealing noise that could potentially be heard in close proximity.

Summary

Despite not being blown away, the Nexus Femme Bisous Rabbit still impressed me. It seemed to fit my body extremely well (Which may not apply to all ladies) and the vibrations and rotations combined well, providing lots of sensation, which often led to orgasms.

Not many rabbit vibrators can make me orgasm reliably and considering I have a general dislike for this style of vibrator in general, I am obviously impressed that this one could. It is rechargeable, made from body safe silicone and has that fabulous rotating shaft.

If Nexus found a way to supply a little more depth and power to the clitoral arm, I think I would rate this vibrator extremely highly. As it is right now, I was definitely impressed, but not completely blown away.
