Master Series Constrictor Cock Ring Review

Master Series Constrictor Cock Ring Review, June 2021

From my experience, the Master Series Constrictor Cock Ring invokes one of two reactions.

You are either curious about this device and looking forward to finding out more, or you just clamped your legs shut, shook your head vigorously and thought, “Oh hell no!”

The Constrictor is clearly a niche sex toy, designed specifically for those who enjoy cock and ball torture (CBT).

Having some experience with this kink (and enjoying it very much) my partner and I were looking to try something new. This is why I accepted the kind offer from sexcite.co.uk to review the Constrictor Cock Ring.

Product Information

The Constrictor Cock Ring is designed to be worn around the shaft of the penis and once attached, it will function as a cock ring and a CBT device.

The Constrictors main feature is the inclusion of 28 adjustable screws, which allow you to alter the diameter inside the ring.

With the screws completely loosened, the diameter inside the ring measures 1.75 inches (5.5in circumference) according to my measurements. Master series do list the largest diameter as 1.83 inches, so each ring may vary slightly.

With the screws fully tightened, the diameter inside the ring shrinks to just 0.8 inches (or 2.5 inches in circumference). As you can see, the screws can be adjusted to ensure a good fit for most men.

Made from solid stainless steel and measuring 1.5 inches from back to front, this chunky cock ring weighs a ton (okay, it actually weighs 258 grams/0.57 pounds, but it feels like a ton when it is wrapped around your cock).
The screws measure 0.6 inches in length and have an Alan key/Hex key head. The Constrictor does come with an Alan/Hex key, so you don’t have to worry about finding one at home.
The Constrictor is obviously not the kind of cock ring you can remove by pulling it off of your erect cock (ouch), so you will be pleased to hear that it has been designed with a hinge opening.
All you need to do is remove the padlock and the Constrictor will open up, allowing you to free yourself at any stage of arousal. It is therefore VERY important that you keep your padlock key safe. It may be painful to remove this device without it.
Sadly, the aforementioned padlock is not included with the device, so you will need to purchase one separately. The diameter of the padlock hole is 0.25 inches, so any small padlock will fit. In my experience, the padlocks I received with my chastity devices work well.

Our Experiences With The Constrictor Cock Ring

Attaching The Constrictor

Neither of us have used a cock ring like the Constrictor before, so it did take us a little while to get the hang of it. The first thing we discovered is that he needed to be erect (or at least semi-erect) to successfully attach the Constrictor to his cock.
With an erection, the screws had a rigid surface to apply pressure to. This is not the case with a flaccid penis and the heavy device would fall off.

When you first use the Constrictor, you have no idea how tight the screws should be. To find the best fit, we decided to loosen all of the screws completely, attach the ring to his erect cock and then tighten the screws until they pressed firmly against his shaft.

This clearly wasn’t the best method, as the screws would twist and nip his skin as they came into contact. If you decide to try this method, I recommend letting the wearer do it himself, as he can feel what is going on.

Tighten a few screws at various points around the device, until you feel them make contact with your skin, then remove the device and tighten the rest to match. An alternative method is to take an educated guess by holding the ring closed around your erection and removing it to make adjustments. Unfortunately, this method is not completely pain-free either.

As you close the device, the protruding screws can drag across your cock, causing similar nipping sensations. In our experience, neither method caused any damage, but both can be a little uncomfortable.

Wearing The Constrictor

Like most cock rings, the Constrictor restricted the blood flow to the penis, giving him a very firm erection.

Of course, this wasn’t much of a benefit for him, because the harder he got, the more those screws pressed into his shaft.

Much to my delight, he would also get a short increase in pain every time his cock throbbed, so I took great pleasure in making that happen as often as possible.

When I asked him to describe the sensations, he said that he could feel a lot of the screws applying pin-point pressure to his shaft.

Where the flat end of each screw pressed, he felt a dull-but-focused pressure, which intensifies the more his cock swelled/throbbed. Sometimes this sensation was manageable and at other times it was verging on unbearable.

With his cock constricted and suffering with every throb, he found it very difficult to reach orgasm. It wasn’t just the physical sensations that held him back, but the mental aspects too. It was as though he feared reaching orgasm and having to suffer through those orgasmic throbs/twitches.

Orgasm while wearing the Constrictor is very much a mixed blessing. Sure, you get to cum, but it is going to hurt and will likely result in a somewhat ruined orgasm. As a chastity, tease and denial fan, this pleased me.

During removal, I discovered another exciting feature of the Constrictor device; it hurts more coming off than it does going on. If you use nipple clamps (or any other type of clamp for that matter) you will be aware of that brief but sharp flare of pain that occurs when the pressure is released and the blood flows back.

This is exactly what happens with the Constrictor Cock Ring. The flare of pain occurs where the screws had previously been pressing. If the screws were applying enough pressure, you may also notice a bunch of circular pressure marks where the screws once pressed. These marks tend to fade within a few hours.

Downsides

As with most sex toys, the Constrictor does come with a few niggles. As mentioned above, it is quite difficult to attach this device without experiencing some kind of pinching/nipping.

On top of this, I could sometimes get frustrated at how long it took to manually adjust each screw. The time taken to do this can distract you from the mood/moment.

Another thing to note is that it is difficult (and probably risky) to penetrate your partner while wearing the Constrictor. If you attach the device to the base of your penis, it will cover 1.5 inches of your length, making shallow penetration possible.

However, you should bear in mind that the screws will be protruding from the sides of the ring and there is a risk that you could scratch your partner’s thighs/labia/testicles/other as you moved. I personally wouldn’t recommend it.

The only other complaint I have involves cleaning the device. It is obviously very difficult to clean the threads on 28 small screws, not to mention all the holes.

The Constrictor is designed to be worn on your penis and is likely to come into contact with bodily fluids. I would therefore recommend that you do not share this device with anyone you are not fluid bonded with.

Summary

The Constrictor might be described as a cock ring, but its primary use is as a cock and ball torture device. In other words, don’t choose this device if your only objective is to achieve a firmer erection.

The Constrictor does offer a reasonably broad range of pain intensity levels to experiment with. Your experience will depend on your own tolerance to pain, the size of your penis, the mood you are in and how tight the screws are set. Overall though, I would say the pain intensity levels range from moderate to intense.

I wouldn’t recommend the Constrictor to those who are new to BDSM or CBT, as it may be a little too intense. If you are just starting out, I recommend starting with products like the Oxballs Cocksling or the Gates of Hell device.

If you have some CBT experience however, and you are looking to crank things up a notch, you need to experience the pleasure (and pain) of the Master Series Constrictor Cock Ring.
