LELO Siri 2 Sound Responsive Music Vibrator Review

LELO Siri 2 Sound Responsive Music Vibrator Review, June 2021

Rather than creating a bunch of brand new sex toys, LELO’s latest mission has been to create re-imagined versions of a number of their classic vibrators.

Just a few months ago, I had the pleasure of reviewing the new Mona Wave and Ina Wave vibrators.

Both of these products are based closely on the Mona and Ina 2 vibrators, but with a few tweaks and one notable new feature (motorised shafts) the newly released products offered a different type of stimulation.

The latest LELO sex toy to be given this type of re-design is the LELO Siri 2 vibrator. As you may have already guessed, the new Siri also comes with a notable new feature; a sound responsive vibration mode.

Product Information

The Siri 2’s petite size and oval shape make it best suited to stimulating external erogenous zones such as the clitoris and nipples.

It can be used for very shallow vaginal penetration, but at 4 inches in total length (including the 2 inch long handle), it really isn’t best designed for insertion into the body.

Like all LELO sex toys, the Siri has been designed to look classy and feel luxurious. As a high quality sex toy, the Siri boasts the following features:

  • 8 vibration modes, including 1 continuous speed setting and 7 pattern settings.
  • Approximately 10 different speed levels within each pattern setting.
  • Sound activation mode, which will allow you to set the vibrations buzzing in time to your favourite music. (Press and hold the up and down arrow buttons for 3 to 5 seconds to switch in and out of the sound activated mode).
  • Made from high quality, body safe materials (ABS plastic and silky soft silicone).
  • USB rechargeable (A full charge gets you approximately 2 hours play time).
  • 100% waterproof.
  • Travel Lock (Press and hold the plus and minus buttons together for approximately 3 to 5 seconds to lock and unlock the Siri 2).
  • Comes with a discreet, long term storage box, a satin storage pouch, a sachet of LELO lubricant, a user manual, a USB charging cable and a warranty card.

My Experiences With The LELO Siri 2

As a clitoral vibrator, the Siri actually impressed me more than I was expecting it to. I’ve tested a few of LELO’s smaller sex toys, but never had a mind blowing experience with any.

The fact is, I need a deeper, more powerful vibration than LELO’s original, petite toys could provide.

I have a feeling that LELO have upgraded their vibrator motors, along with other upgrades to their newer products, because I seem to be having more success with their newer vibrators, than I did with the older ones.

The Siri 2’s vibrations are powerful, but what pleases me the most is that I can feel these vibrations travel fairly deeply into my clitoris.

As a power seeker, this is the type of stimulation I need to reach orgasm and the Siri 2 provides enough rumbling depth (about the same amount as the We-Vibe Touch), that I can often reach orgasm when I use it.

This is great news (and a vast improvement on previous experiences), but the fact still remains; I own a number of petite clitoral vibrators that I would personally choose to use, before I would choose to use the LELO Siri 2.

Yes, the Siri 2 is powerful and the motor does produce a decent rumble, but my We-Vibe Tango is stronger and deeper still. It also doesn’t help that I prefer pin-point stimulation.

The Siri 2 does taper to a reasonably pin-point tip, but compared to my favourite clitoral stimulators (We-Vibe Tango and Touch), it just wasn’t quite as pin point as I would have liked.

There was another minor issue that kept me from experiencing mind blowing orgasms with the Siri 2; it contains buzzy vibrations. Alongside the deep and rumbling vibrations already mentioned, the Siri 2 also produces a powerful, surface level vibration that could often numb my clitoris slightly.

This was especially true on the highest speeds. Normally, this type of vibration will do nothing for me, but the Siri thankfully contains an equal blend of both shallow and deep vibrations.

While the shallow ones could be a little distracting, the deeper ones would continue to push me towards climax. It wasn’t perfect, but it was certainly good enough for me.

My Experiences With The Sound Responsive Vibration Mode

When it comes to vibrations, I almost always choose to use the continuous vibration modes, rather than the intermittent pattern settings.

Still, I was really looking forward to experimenting with the Siri 2’s sound responsive mode. I loaded up my Spotify playlist, got horizontal and waited.

The music began playing, but aside from an occasional random pulse, nothing much seemed to be happening between my legs.  The vibrations were not pulsing in time to the music beat. The Siri was not detecting the music beats at all.

At first I assumed the Siri was defective, but having had a similar experience with another sound activated sex toy (The Nalone Rhythm vibrator), I already had a good idea what the problem was.

Firstly, the Siri 2’s sensor is placed on the underside of the handle and is the size of a pin head. When you are using the Siri to stimulate your clitoris, this sensor can easily be covered by a finger, or your pubic mound. I was accidentally covering up the sensor.

This wasn’t the only problem though. Just like my experience with the Nalone Rhythm, I had to hold the music source (phone or laptop) very close to the Siri 2, otherwise the vibrations would be quite sporadic.

I eventually worked out that the Siri reacted best when the music source was within 10 inches of the Siri 2’s sensor. Next, I loaded up a decibel meter on my phone, noting that the Siri 2 reacted best when the music volume measured approximately 85 decibels or more.

This does mean that you will need to have your music source close by if you want the sound activated mode to work well. Ideally, you want to play your music from a phone, or laptop that you can place beside your body.

If you intend to play your music from a speaker at the other side of your room, it will need to be turned up very loud, or you may be left disappointed. On the LELO Siri 2 packaging, it states that you can sing at the vibrator, if you so wished. Considering what I have already mentioned, you can probably imagine how that went.

If I wanted the Siri 2 to respond to my voice, I pretty much had to shout at the top of my lungs. It did not respond well to my singing and unfortunately, I didn’t feel very sexy to shout at my own vulva.

There is one saving grace though; if your partner enjoys talking dirty, you could position them between your legs and enjoy vibrations timed with their sexy words.

One final thing to note is that the Siri 2’s sound activated mode does struggle to keep up with fast music beats. It seems to lag behind and it would sometimes just blend the sounds to create a continuous vibration. Slower music produces a better reaction.

Summary

Overall, I feel pretty ambivalent about the Siri 2 vibrator. It didn’t rock my world, but it didn’t let me down either. Yes, I had a few gripes with it, but most of those gripes were subjective.

There is nothing really wrong with the Siri 2, it just didn’t please me as much as my go-to vibrators do. If the Siri 2 had been one of my first sex toys, I can imagine that I’d think highly of it.

After all, it offers a lot of stimulation modes and it packs a reasonably strong punch for its small size. Being a LELO sex toy, the quality and workmanship is very high.

As somebody who almost always chooses continuous vibration modes, it goes without saying that the sound responsive mode did little for me and I can’t see myself using this setting often.

Still, I do believe this feature would satisfy those who enjoy pulsing vibrations, so long as you can overlook the frustration of having to place/hold your music source so close to the Siri 2.

I was quite impressed that I could create a host of custom sensations, based on the beat of the music, but it wasn’t as responsive as I imagined it would be.

I would definitely recommend the Siri 2 vibrator to beginners and those who enjoy a broad range of sensations (from a gentle purr to a decently powerful vibration). If, like me, you seek the deepest and most intense vibrations possible, you may prefer the We-Vibe Tango instead.

The LELO Siri 2 Music vibrator was kindly sent to me free of charge from LELO.com for an honest review. This does not affect, or sway my opinions of the product and I will always portray my own experiences, good or bad. Affiliate links are used within this post.
