Lelo Elise 2 Vibrator Review

Lelo Elise 2 Vibrator Review

Lelo Elise 2 Vibrator Review, June 2021

The Lelo Elise 2 G-spot vibrator was kindly sent to me from Lelo.com for an honest review and while I expected to like the Elise, with its dual motor technology, luxury silicone and 8 vibrating modes, I also had some doubts.

I have never had a g-spot orgasm from vibrations alone and I have always preferred a flexible dildo, or even fingers, probing at my g-spot, to get me there.

When it comes to clitoral stimulation, I like it to be very pin point and extremely powerful.

You can probably see then, why the Elise is not the most obvious choice for someone like me. Still, I had heard great things about this vibrator and I was looking forward to finding out what all the fuss was about.

I was hoping it would work for me, so you can imagine my utter shock when I slowly discovered one of the best g-spot stimulators I have had the pleasure to use. Like it? I absolutely loved it.

The Elise feels unique, different from other vibrators I had tried before it. (And I have tried plenty.) Most vibrators vary in sensation, either feeling deep or shallow, weak or strong, but still, they generally just vibrate. The Elise however, adds a new sensation, one that I have not experienced before from a vibrator and it feels fantastic.

G-spot Use

The first thought that flashed through my mind during my first session with the Lelo Elise was that this vibrator vaguely reminded me of my Fun Factory Stronic Drei, which is not actually a vibrator.

The Stronic is a pulsating sex toy. Now don’t get me wrong, the Elise is a vibrator first and foremost and it does not pulsate or thrust.

However, on certain pattern modes, the dual motors work together, and independently, to send the vibrations back and forth, up and down the shaft to produce what I can only describe as a throbbing, pulsating sensation.

It worked so well that I could have sworn that I could feel the Elise swell and relax in my hand. It is bizarre, it is fascinating and it feels absolutely divine.

Now, I am not usually a fan of pattern settings, preferring to stick to the constant speed modes on most vibrators, but the Elise is no ordinary vibrator and in my opinion, the best sensations actually come from the vibrators pattern settings.

The dual motors work together to provide some of the most unique sensations I have ever experienced from a vibrator. Each setting was different and as I cycled through all of the modes that the Elise had to offer, I became more and more impressed. I felt my g-spot being teased, tickled, probed, tormented and even pounded and throbbed against. I was in heaven.

The 8 different vibration settings offer plenty of choice as it is, but the Elise still has more tricks up its sleeve. There are two more buttons to play with and these control the power, or speed, of the vibrations. This means that as well as being able to choose your favourite pattern, or mode, you can also decide how powerful you want the vibrations to be whilst in that mode.

It is not a case of having three different speeds to choose from either, the power can be ramped up and down, through 9 different power settings, by pressing and holding the up or down arrow. I experienced everything from a gentle tremor, to a g-spot shaking vibration.

That’s 8 different modes, and the ability to control the speed and power of every single mode, to suit your own tastes. It doesn’t get much more versatile than that.

My g-spot is very particular. I usually avoid vibrations and instead opt for a dildo, or fingers, to apply pressure and some damn hard thrusting and jiggling, to experience g-spot orgasm.

The Elise could not get me there through its vibrations alone, simply because vibrations alone have never worked for me, but the thudding and probing sensations the Elise provided got me pretty damn close, closer than any other vibrator before it anyway. I simply let the vibrations and pulsing sensations build me up and then jiggled the firm shaft against my g-spot to push myself over.

I found that the Elise was very comfortable during insertion and even during hard thrusting, despite it being a completely rigid sex toy. The only thing I had to watch out for was inserting it too deeply, which would cause cervical prodding and discomfort.

The curved shaft did help the bulbous tip to find my g-spot easily, although sometimes I still require further angling, as the curve is not severe.

Luckily, the Elise has a nice bit of weight to it, which helps it to angle naturally when inserted. I actually like the fact that it is not severely curved, because it means that the Elise does not grate or grind up behind my pubic bone like some other rigid g-spot toys can do.

It can sometimes require a blob of lubricant to get started with, but the silky silicone glides easily and compared to lots of other silicone sex toys, it has very little drag.

Clitoral Use

The Elise is not my favourite clitoral vibrator; however I can, and often do, experience clitoral orgasms when using it as one. The Elise has strong, reasonably deep, vibrations directly in the tip of the toy (If you are on the right setting.) and these vibrations are enough to get me to orgasm almost every time.

The problem is that I have been spoiled by the much more pin point, and deeper, rumbling vibrations provided by my We-Vibe Tango (A vibrator designed specifically for clitoral stimulation.)

While the Elise can get me there, it takes a little longer, as the tip is not quite as pin point as my bullet (Obviously) and the vibrations are not as deep. This is no biggie though. After all, I have one of the best g-spot vibrators and one of the best clitoral vibrators at my disposal. Pairing them up and using them simultaneously is not just common sense, it is also mind blowing.

The Elise may not be the best clitoral vibrator I have personally experienced, but it is worth noting that this viewpoint is really just nit-picking on my behalf. After all, the Elise has not been designed as a clitoral vibrator, it is a g-spot vibrator (And one of the best too.) so it is a little unfair to compare it in this regard. It does give me clitoral orgasms most of the time, but it just doesn’t do it quite as quickly or efficiently as my bullet does (See what I mean about the nit-picking?) so the fact that it can give me clitoral orgasms, even if they are slightly harder to reach, is actually another huge positive for the Elise. I am extremely fussy with my clitoral stimulation.

Product Information

The Lelo Elise is a completely rigid sex toy. There is no flex in the shaft. The shaft is curved, and coated in a silky soft, matte silicone skin which provides a small amount of drag during use. (More drag than glass, but much less drag than a matte silicone dildo.)

The usable portion of the shaft measures 5.5 inches in length, with a 4.5 inch circumference at its largest point, the bulbous tip. The total length of the Elise is 9.5 inches (All measurements were taken from the back of the curve, rather than the inside of the curve.)

The Elise is a rechargeable sex toy, and a full charge will allow you up to 4 hours of play time before it runs out of juice.

Another great feature on the Elise is that it is 100% waterproof and so it can be used in the bath or shower and cleaning is simple.

It is also very quiet. Not the most silent vibrator I have tried, but close. I placed the Elise, on full power, under my duvet and walked to the other side of the room. I could not hear it vibrate. It is quite discreet.

Operation

The Lelo Elise comes with 4 button controls. The upward and downward facing arrows control the vibration modes. There are 8 modes to choose from continuous vibrations, to pulses and waves. The last pattern seems to be completely random, which is lots of fun because you don’t know what to expect and the control is taken out of your hands.

The up arrow moves up through these modes and the down arrow moves back down. You cannot repeatedly cycle around the settings in a circle. The plus and minus buttons control the power, or intensity of the vibrations and from what I can tell, there are 9 different levels of intensity to cycle through.

You can also just press and hold the plus or minus button to ramp the power up or down quickly. You can use the plus and minus buttons to increase or decrease the strength of the vibrations, in every single one of the 8 vibration modes, making the Elise extremely versatile with its sensations.

Cleaning And Care

Being completely waterproof, and almost seamless, the Elise is extremely easy to clean and care for. Simply wash it down with antibacterial soap and hot water and rinse well. The only area that will require special attention is the seam where the metal plating and silicone sections meet.

There is a small seam around this area that can trap lube or body fluids. You should stick to using water based lubricants only with the Elise, as silicone lubricant can damage silicone toys.

Thankfully, the silicone on the Elise is brushed and silky soft and so it does not attract lint or dust in the same way other silicones can. For extra protection, the Elise also comes with a satin storage pouch, and can even be stored long term in its original box.

Summary

The love the Lelo Elise 2. I was simply not expecting to enjoy it quite as much as I did. It takes a lot for me to rate a sex toy so highly, but I don’t hesitate in saying that the Elise is my number one g-spot vibrator.

Perhaps not my favourite g-spot toy overall, as I do still prefer using my dildos for hard, fast jiggling, but the Elise provided unique sensations and huge versatility, along with enjoyable, deep, rumbling vibrations that pushed me close to having my first g-spot orgasms through vibrations alone.

I have to give the Elise high marks for that feat. It also did a good job as a clitoral stimulator. I cannot find much fault with the Elise. It is comfortable and easy to insert, grip, and thrust with.

On top of all this, the Elise is rechargeable, waterproof, discreet and made from luxury, body safe materials. What more could I ask for? I would recommend the Elise 2 to anyone who enjoys g-spot play and specifically, g-spot vibration. It is one of the best.
