Electrastim Metal Cock Rings Set Review

Electrastim Metal Cock Rings Set Review

Electrastim Metal Cock Rings Set Review, June 2021

I was kindly sent a pack of Electro-Sex Cock Rings (ElectraRings) from Electrastim, for an impartial review and we were more than happy to give them a whirl.

My partner and I currently own the Electrastim Flick EM60-M set, which includes a handheld e-stim device and multiple accessories, including a small probe, pads and adjustable, rubber cock rings, so we were extremely excited to add a new accessory to our e-stim collection in the form of these solid metal cock rings.

Product Information

The Electro-Sex Cock Rings are made entirely from a solid aluminium bar, which makes them extremely lightweight but tough too. Despite the fact that you can only ever use two rings at any time, Electrastim created this set of five rings to ensure each user gets the best fit possible.

The sizes written on the boxing match exactly with personal measurements taken, so in order of largest to smallest, the ring diameters are 44mm, 42mm, 40mm, 38mm, and 36mm. These cock rings are uni-polar, which means that you must either use two of these rings or one ring and another e-stim accessory, at the same time, to complete the circuit. They work best when used with conductive gel.

Our Experiences With The Electro-Sex Cock Rings

Electrastim mention in the product information that you can receive oral sex with the rings on, so being the incredibly brave person I am, I decided to put this to the test.

Electrastim are correct, you can indeed receive a blow job while the rings are on, but a word of warning for the person giving the blow job; if your mouth or tongue touch the rings at any time, you will feel an intense, powerful vibrating sensation.

It feels extremely strange and in some cases, actually painful. Before we could use the rings properly, we had to find the one ring to rule them all two rings that fit my partner the best.

We discovered the best way to do this was to start with the largest, put them on while he was flaccid and see how well they fit when erect. Starting with the largest will help you avoid that penis squeezing discomfort by a ring that is just too tight (And getting them off while erect is not easy or comfortable.

You will need to allow the erection to subside before removing). As a rule of thumb, if the ring feels snug when you are flaccid, it is probably too small. Allow room for growth.

We attached our chosen rings to our Electrastim Flick device (which literally takes seconds to set up), smeared some conductive gel onto the inside of the rings (plus a little on his penis, to be sure), and then slid them into position while he was still flaccid. He then allowed himself to get erect, while I admired our handy work.

Before I had even turned the device on, I noticed two big differences between these metal cock rings and the adjustable rubber ones that we got with the Flick. The first difference was that the metal cock rings produced a much firmer erection, because they acted in exactly the same way as any metal cock ring would and trapped the blood in his penis.

To some extent, the adjustable, rubber cock rings also did this, but because they stretched and loosened up a little during use, the affect was milder. (They are gentler if you will). The second notable difference lies in the aesthetics. Both my partner and I found ourselves more attracted to these metal rings, most likely because the solid, shiny metal creates a more ‘hardcore’ bondage look, compared to stretchy rubber. In other words, they look really sexy. Like bling for your penis.

With the rings in position (One at the base of his penis and one circling underneath his glans), and our Flick on continuous output, we began working our way up through the intensity settings.

My partner really enjoyed the sensations felt at the lower and mid-intensity levels, describing the stimulation as buzzing and tingling, but generally feeling quite similar to vibrations. The rings began to build him up towards orgasm, but unlike manual stimulation, the process was generally slower. After roughly 10 to 15 minutes he tipped over into a completely hands free orgasm, which was impressive in itself.

Despite reaching a hands free orgasm, my partner was not overly impressed. See, the rings had given him enough stimulation to reach orgasm, but due to the completely different sensations provided (and lack of stimulation from his hand) the orgasm felt mild (He described it as being a ruined orgasm) For those wondering why he didn’t just turn up the intensity, the answer is simple; it started to feel uncomfortable.

He explained that beyond a certain level of intensity, he began to feel like his urethra was being squeezed closed between the two rings and that this felt crampy. My partner is not really into pain, so we did not push it further, but as a sadist, I simply noted this ‘issue’ as another great feature of use.

At low to mid level intensity, these rings can be used to provide pleasure, but at higher levels of intensity, they can cause discomfort and/or pain (depending on your own pain tolerance), so I would definitely recommend them to fans of CBT (Cock and ball torture).

His first hands-free, e-stim orgasm had left him wanting, but it was not the end of the world. (For us, this was a bonus because chastity and orgasm denial features heavily as part of our bedroom fun.) For those who DO want to enjoy their orgasms though, I have good news.

We discovered quickly that he could still use his hands to masturbate while the rings were on. He occasionally felt a slight buzz against his hand, but it was not painful or uncomfortable in any way. This meant he could use the rings to add a new element of pleasure. They spiced up his masturbation sessions.

Using Other Accessories With The Electrastim Cock Rings

One important thing to note is that the rings are uni-polar accessories and this means you can always swap out one of the rings for another uni-polar accessory (Like a pad), or even a bi-polar accessory, like the probes.

This really adds some variety to your sessions and there are multiple possibilities depending on what other accessories you own. For example, you could use a ring and a pad, or a ring and an anal probe, at the same time. You can use both accessories on yourself or even share the current with a partner.

Downsides

Although these rings are more visually appealing, we did discover one downside to having a solid set of e-stim cock rings.

When my partner loses his erection, or goes softer, the rings have a tendency to either slip off altogether, or begin to feel uncomfortable because the rings cover a smaller surface area on his penis (There are now gaps between the ring and his penis) and the intensity increases as the surface area decreases. This doesn’t happen so much with the adjustable rings, because you can simply tighten/loosen them to fit, as your erection rises or drops.

Summary

Our experience with the ElectraRings set was a good one overall. The aspect that stood out the most was just how versatile the set was. Having five different sized rings gave us the opportunity to try placing them at different points on his penis and even around his testicles and once they were in place, the sensations ranged from pleasurable tingles and vibrations that really helped to enhance his orgasms, to uncomfortable squeezing sensations that might be ideal for CBT fans.

This is the beauty of these cock rings. They can be used for pleasure, pain and anything in between. The rings are so simple to care for, set up and use. You can even use them in the same way as any metal cock ring, to produce stronger, firmer erections. Because the E-Stim Cock Rings cover such a broad range of sensations and are so easy to use, I would happily recommend them to all e-stim fans, including beginners.

The ElectraRings were kindly sent to me free of charge by ElectraStim for an honest review. This does not affect, or sway my opinions of the product and I will always portray my own experiences, good or bad. I am not affiliated with this company and no affiliate links are used within this post.
